When we wanted to give a name to our “channel of communication”, the task was not easy. It was very difficult to choose one or two words that can connote our ideas, history, achievements and our way in life. Many words poured in our heads, each of which represented partly what we are about to convey to you. None of them was completely satisfactory. We realized that it is impossible to have words that condense our message, specially since sacred words are consumed in wrong contexts and used to convey perhaps the opposite meanings of what they were meant to. We need to polish them once more and make them shine with their real meaning. That is one of our goals in this channel. You will see for yourself that what matters for us is not the “words” , but their meanings which can be expressed in unlimited ways and within different contexts.

“Road Home” was approved. We hope it will stimulate your curiosity. In a world full of names tied to stereo types, none of which we feel represents us, we have avoided self classification. We hope that you will get to know us through what we present here. We need you to share with us our experiences, ideas, views, and we, to share yours.

Although “A Road Home” is not clear enough to tell you who we are, it expresses accurately our approach to life.

To be home is a goal to be sought. There are many roads that lead home, we have ours.

We chose the word home because it is associated with meanings that convey our goals. Home means shelter, safety, and protection. Home is a place where , you can love and be loved. There, you are at peace. A peace within the heart that can manifest and spread all over the world. Whenever you mean well, and whenever your heart is full of love, your feeling of protection will be assured. To be home is our common goal.

We did not come up with a new use of the word "home". We've only stretched its meaning, as has been done also in many religions and cultures. The word Pharaoh meant literally the “great home”. The sacred family is very indicative in Christianity and is a symbol for home.

In Islam, the Kaaba is a symbol for Allah’s Home baytu’ l lah. Muslims direct themselves to Kaaba during their prayers, and travel to it in order to perform their pilgrimage.

We need to transcend “words” , “images” , “forms”, “prejudices” in order to realize that there is a unity that men share. They share being human and they share a goal. In order to achieve that goal, man should return, to his origin. his spiritual being, to his home. He should move towards that direction. Home is his direction and goal.

If we have no home, no direction, we will get lost, we will go nowhere. Here we are, we are in our way home.. a road home. Let us go together.
