... What is the main thought
presented in "A Road Home" ?

We have a belief that man is born to survive. Through temporal life man gains eternal life because he is a spirit; he is divine, and he has tremendous potentialities for spiritual transformation. The essence of that knowledge is that the Eternal Law of Life is One. All Revelations guide humans to live in harmony with that Law; that is why, we believe, Religion is One. Religion guides man to Knowledge, respect of reason, and freedom. The Eternal Law of Life is revealed to those who seek knowledge on all aspects of life, adhere to reasonability, and scientific thinking, together with pursuing to be spiritually free. When man fulfills his humanity he feels at Home. There are several roads to reach Home but there is one Direction. Ours is "A Road Home".

This truth is stressed in Islam as revealed by Prophet Muhammad through Koran and Prophetic Tradition, Sunna. Islam reveals that the K’aba is a symbol for all humans’ Home, it existed since unknown time to indicate that the Love and guidance of the Supreme Power are eternal. The earth was never void nor will be from spiritual guidance. Man was guided by the holy side within to know about the Divine Law. Prophet Abraham, the father of all prophets revealed the basis of the Primordial Religion. Moses and Jesus received Revelation that guided people on the righteous path. Prophet Muhammad condensed and complimented all revelations. He revealed a comprehensive system for humans to live in harmony with the Eternal Law. He also revealed that all prophets are manifestations of divine love and they share the same goal in guiding men to gain eternal life. It is not necessary that all humans convert to one form, or one cultural affiliation. We just want to attract the attention that all Revelation and wisdom share one and the same goal for humans to gain eternal life.

Along the path to achieve that goal man is guided to seek being attached to the Supreme Power; search for the divinity within through Purification of the heart and soul; search for guidance in all the spiritual inheritance and wisdom; and be a channel for divine love to reach all his human brethren, with no distinction of race or color. It is not a matter of rituals, or religious practices, it is a way of understanding how the Law works and how man can make himself accessible to God’s graces to make spiritual transformation possible. This is done by: seeking knowledge, going through one’s spiritual experience and be filled with love.

In "A Road Home", we as a group express our view that Holy Scripture including Koran and Sunna can be decoded anew as long as humans develop spiritually and intellectually. Stagnation is a barrier, and blind imitation is the worst way to follow. All forms of worship, rituals, permissions and prohibitions are “messages” for man to decode when his spirit is radiant, his heart is pure and his thought is bright. The Sufi leaders in the history of Islam were those who could appreciate the spirituality of Islam but they were not themselves appreciated by the society.
